AIAA Author Kit

Your paper should be prepared according to AIAA Manuscript Preparation Kit. Please note that the paper can be no longer than 11 pages single column because this is a student competition. Masters Competition papers may have up to two student authors and list one faculty advisor as co-author.

AIAA Region IV Student Conference

Tour

The 2018 AIAA Region IV Student Conference will do a tour to the local Airforce Research Laboratories. This tour will involve 10 stops around the laboratories exploring fascinating facilities. The tour is on base, so prior information will be needed to attend. 

 

 All transportation will be provided from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albuquerque Airport (Details can be viewed under "Hotel Information")

 

Transportation to the Conference (Friday)

The Transportation to the Conference on Friday morning will run from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. to accomodate conference guests. Note: Check-In for the conference begins at 7:30 a.m. 

 

Transportation from the Conference (Friday)

 Transportation will be provided to transport conference guests back to the hotel from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

 

Transportation to the Tour at AFRL (Saturday) 

AFRL has sponsored the tour and transportation to the tour from the hotel. The bus will pick up at the hotel at 8:30 a.m. and leave to go back to the hotel at 11:30 a.m.

 

Transportation to the Banquet (Saturday) 

 The bus will leave to transport conference guests to the banquet at 12:00 p.m. Conference guests can take luggage to the Banquet hotel where we will have a secure designated luggage area. 

 

Parking

 If you are bringing your own vehicle, there is paid parking available at a nearby church parking lot at $3.00 a day. Maps to this location will be provided under the tab "Maps and Directions". Anyone with a handicap parking pass can park in any lot on campus, and can simply NOT take up the "Reserved" parking spaces. Judges will have paid parking available
